We check out the best and worst attempts at reusing car names from the past
The most famous celeb car crash of all time must be The Who's drummer driving a car into the swimming pool of a Holiday Inn in Flint, Michigan in 1967.
Biographers have since claimed it's nothing more than an urban myth, but singer Roger Daltrey insists it really did happen. The Oasis 1997 album cover for Be Here Now recreated the incident; the actual car-in-the-pool was believed to be a Cadillac or a Lincoln, not a Rolls-Royce however.
Since Moon had just blown up the toilet in his room of the same hotel with dynamite (as you do), Holiday Inn's management perhaps understandably took a dim view, and he was banned from the chain for life. This eventful life was to end aged just 32 in 1978 as a result of a sedative overdose.

A Porsche Carrera GT abandoned in a underground parking garage. From user 'jeffchinups', "It has been sitting in the same spot for over a year and has expired registration. Wonder what happened to the owner, jail, forgot where the keys went? Sad sight to see."
