The classic cars from the ‘70s and ‘80s you want to save from extinction the most
Jaguar SS100 (by Suffolk Jaguar)
Originally known as the Jaguar 3.5-litre this model quickly gained the SS100 moniker because of its 100mph top speed. Only 314 units of the original model were made, making a faithful replica like the one from Suffolk Jaguar the closest most mortals will come to owning this piece of British motoring heritage.

Happy New Year Folks !.
Some years ago I saw a Ferrari V12 job copied using a Jag V12 engine and heavier but better quality fibre glass bodywork.
I remember thinking that the original had less reliability, more expensive running costs and weeks of waiting for even the simplest of parts.
The Ferrari was valued at £200.000, the superior copy was then priced at £20.000.
I remember thinking WHY ?.
Why would anyone pay TEN times more for an inferior product, unless it was for a probable non-driving investment.
But if it is just an investment you want, buy a painting and leave the real driving cars to us real drivers who want it for what it is, an automotive styling work of art, not an investment.
Peace.
It has exactly the same number of road wheels, and engines as the Bugatti. Like the Bugatti, it has a roof, windows to see out of, a seat to sit on, and a steering wheel to drive with and etc.... It also has exactly the same top speed ( 70 mph on Britain's motorways ) !
It's also cunningly camouflaged to avoid attracting too much attention - in fact it looks almost exactly like a six year old Ford Mondeo ... !
:-)
Replica cars are not bad. I am not talking about a brand new Ferrari replica.... but a recreation of the old beauties such as cobras or and old Lamborghini Miura that otherwise nobody can afford.
And face it! The replica market has takes off! Sites such as kitcars4sale.com are emerging and creating a hub for the kitcar and replica car buy/sell business.
