Jaguar SS100 (by Suffolk Jaguar)

Just what planet are the people who write this rubbish living on? Affordable replicas? £30K+?  

I bought myself an almost exact replica of the £1.66 m Bugatti Veryron Super Sport - and it only cost me £5,000 !

It has exactly the same number of road wheels, and engines as the Bugatti. Like the Bugatti, it has a roof, windows to see out of, a seat to sit on, and a steering wheel to drive with and etc.... It also has exactly the same top speed ( 70 mph on Britain's motorways ) !

It's also cunningly camouflaged to avoid attracting too much attention - in fact it looks almost exactly like a six year old Ford Mondeo ... !

i agree with all the sensible comments on this matter pretty much short of winning the euro-millions not many people can afford supercars or the cost of running them !!!!! personally i dont see the point in replica cars as they in some way shape or form are drastically different to the actual supercar, well they have to be to avoid copyright infringements so to the common eye you will be a mystery living in your £100k house with a ferrari parked on the kirb outside !!! and to a petrol head you will be a pathetic deluded fool with a fake car , so i can think of 0000's of amazing cars out there on sale that are more than worth the money an if your in a position to afford a little more try out aftermarket upgrades more often than not that BMW M3 or MERC AMG that you crave but simply cant afford at £45k+ are no match for running costs yet not too far behind in performance to say ............the ford mondeo 2.2 tdci costing £4-6k for an '05 with 155 bhp an 220+ lb ft of torque with an extra £3-4k spent under the bonnet and transmission you can produce a real wolf in sheeps clothing somewhere along the lines of 300bhp an 5-600 lb ft of torque an believe me there wont be much able to overtake you, so £30k for a slow replica seems ludicrous

As much as people say "who can afford £30k?", I think it's a rather misrepresented statement, in fact, I see lots of people driving around in fancy cars that are almost twice as much as that; how many streets can you go down near where you live & see at least one Jag parked on someone's drive, a new range rover (costing £50k new), or even lesser but still imo expensive cars like the new Mini, and equally it's newer cousin which has just come out (I've already seen a a few of them recently). 2nd hand models of these cost around £6k. Who are these people who are driving around in these cars?, because I certainly can't afford even £6k. Yet they are eveywhere. Jags, Merc, BMW's - even Porsche's, etc are to be seen in every road and in town/city you go regardless if you live on/near a council estate or a wealthy area. These may not be Ferrari's or Lambo's , but they are still quite expensive. What is this recession we are in? my dad was young, living in the 40s/50s noone, except maybe a Dr could afford a car.

My dad has a Wildcat E Type replica and to him it is the nearest thing he'll get to a real E Type Jaguar - he's happy with it as he's always wanted an E Type; cheaper to run with a Ford engine or other engine. In a way, it has it's own unique design being wider at the front and back. A bargain for 5k, but of course had spent a few more thousand on getting it up to standard with chroming, wheels, etc.
