Bosch's autonomous car: MSN reviews the driverless car
Car companies are developing new kinds of vehicles which don't need a driver. These so-called autonomous cars can drive completely on their own, using a raft of detailed maps, satellites and sensors to navigate their way around the existing road network.
Bosch is one of the world's biggest component suppliers for the world's motor industry and is the brains behind many of the hybrid systems and other fuel-saving devices we're seeing on modern cars. MSN Cars was invited out to the top-secret Boxberg R&D test facility in Germany to try out its latest prototype: the Bosch driverless car.
