Not an ideal companion on the motorway anyway, a Matiz is best off tackling short, sharp journeys. Even so, don't drive into potholes as the tiny wheels may struggle to get out again. The biggest upside is reliability, as the Matiz has a good reputation for not breaking down and remaining very cheap to run.
