Le Mans 2012: all alone at the Eurotunnel
Oops. Etc.

As you'll already have read by this point, Audi won the 2012 Le Mans – adding the first hybrid victory to its already impressive list of numero uno achievements. Congratulations are in order. I'm only just getting around to posting this update because we missed the last Eurotunnel.

It's not as if we didn't try to make it – as you can tell by the insect collection on the front of the Skyline. But this car is also thirsty (and well worth it), which meant we couldn't make the whole dash without refueling.

We were 40 minutes too late in the end, which left us all alone at the terminal.

This gave me a good opportunity to take some spooky snaps, but meant I didn't actually get home until 4am this morning.

So while there is more Le Mans 2012 content coming, at the moment it's getting here rather slowly...
