Biographies
Tom Evans - Content Manager

After attending University College London, where he read History, Tom spent the first few years of his career with Pearson plc, the international media group. Starting off as a production runner, he became an Assistant Producer with Financial Times Television, the TV arm of the newspaper. He was then appointed Online Manager for sister company Pearson Television, and managed the company's web presence with websites for high-profile shows such as Neighbours and The Bill.

After five years with Pearson he left to build an interactive personal finance service for NTL, the UK cable-TV company. He was then appointed Account Director for Object 1, a digital professional services consultancy with a range of high-profile media clients such as Oxford University Press, COI Communications, and Reuters. He then worked in a number of consultancy roles, working for organisations such as Medecins Sans Frontieres. Tom was appointed content editor of MSN Cars in June 2004, before being made content manager in October 2005. Since joining MSN Cars it has become one of the UK's leading motoring websites. In March 2008 according to independent ratings agency comScore, MSN Cars received 1.032m unique users. E-mail: tomev@microsoft.com

Ian Dickson - Content Editor

Ian is a content editor of MSN Cars, a job that involves a little bit of everything, from writing about used cars, news and features to creating photo galleries. He worked previously at Test Drive magazine where he was a features writer, and before that spent two years on the consumer and roadtest desks of What Car? In his spare time, Ian has written for Auto Express, Jack, T3 and the Fifth Gear website, and kick-started his career in journalism as an editor in an internal communications agency.

Dan Trent - Motoring Journalist

Learning his editorial craft in student media in Manchester, Dan moved to London where he worked for Dennis Publishing and contributed to Evo and Auto Express, among others. After helping to launch specialist title Mercedes Enthusiast and then going on to edit the magazine Dan has become something of an expert on the marque but has now diversified and broadened his automotive outlook beyond the three-pointed star. Equally at home with a camera as a keyboard, Dan contributes roadtests and features to MSN Cars and a wide range of motoring publications.

Richard Aucock - Motoring Journalist
Richard writes editorial for all areas of the site, including news, road tests, features and reports from the major motor shows. He has been writing since 1998, after winning a motor writing prize for aspiring young journalists while still at University. Currently he works at editorial agency Motoring Research Ltd, where he’s been since 2001. Richard was named 'Saab Young Journalist of the Year' in December 2005.
Christopher Hubbard

Christopher began working at editorial agency Motoring Research soon after graduating from Coventry University's MA in Automotive Journalism in 2006. So far he hasn't crashed anything and is thoroughly enjoying fulfilling the ambition he's always had to become a motoring writer. Don't ask him about working in retail though, or he might start to twitch...
