Vicki started racing 100cc karts against the likes of David Coulthard when she was 12, and still races today in whatever she can get her helmet into - most recently a Ferrari F430 and Honda NSX.

In 2004, as part of the support races for the 2004 British Formula One GP, Vicki became the first woman to win a Maserati race in the history of the marque. She's also a former racing instructor at Silverstone and has taught hundreds of petrol heads the fastest way round a circuit over the years.

Current vehicles

: Range Rover HSE, Mk II VW Golf GTI (example above), Ducati Monster 750 motorbike. "I love the ease of the RR, the purity of the Golf and the selfishness of riding the Ducati solo."

All-time favourite car: "Lamborghini Diablo GT (pictured below). The last of the great supercars in my opinion - a proper rear-drive, V12-powered 200mph+ machine that demanded my full attention to drive it hard."

"Today's supercars with their four-wheel-drive systems and numerous safety devices are as easy as Nissan Micras to drive by comparison. Only 80 Diablo GTs were ever made and I still feel privileged to have driven one more than a decade on."
