The classic cars from the ‘70s and ‘80s you want to save from extinction the most
Biography: CJ Hubbard

CJ is the senior writer at the automotive editorial agency Motoring Research, where he's worked since graduating from Coventry University with an MA in Automotive Journalism in 2006. Unusual, but true. He's written for titles as diverse as the Sunday Times, Which? and PistonHeads, but spends most of his time providing news and car reviews both online and on video for MSN Cars.
Completely understands if you don't think this is a real job. Can usually be found geeking out about technology or being cynical about the supercars he secretly loves.
Current car: 1990 Mazda MX-5."Made the mistake of borrowing a mk1 MX-5 from Mazda, and then just had to buy one. It's an early UK car in gorgeous Mariner Blue and very original condition. Apart from all the chassis and performance mods. Ahem. Doesn't mean I'm actually any good with scissors, though."

Ferrari F40
All time favourite car: "How on earth do you pick just one - that's like asking for an all time favourite movie. Impossible. Right now I'm thinking a Ferrari F40 and the team of dedicated mechanics and fuel trucks necessary to give it a daily run. Ask me tomorrow and it might be something altogether more humdrum."
